The leather is black with chamfered sides. The rails and rivets are a bright, shiny copper and the BRASS rivets are hand-pounded for that old-world craftsmanship look. The copper rails look very nice and really stand out on your bike. Brooks saddles have a long, rich history (since 1866) and are still made in England. Your Brooks saddle will break in and wear very nicely and once it is moulded to your body it will be the most comfortable and longest lasting saddle you have ever owned. The B17 is our flagship model, ideal for long distance spors touring, trekking and atb use. It has been on the market for over 100 years, being featured in as early as the 1898 catalogue .
